I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

i'm curious as to why they are waiting? i'm so wondering? (:
Looks like city trains...nice shot! Thanks for linking up!
Nice reality shot with the new natural position of eyes stuck on phone. I hope she doesn't walk in front of the train looking at it.
You captured the word "waiting", nice shot.
Looks like no one saw you had a camera! Neat!
a moment of humanity.
The common scene played out today while waiting for a train, a cab, sitting on a park bench, even walking down the street.
Nicely captured Kathy!
Love that green neon on her shoes and shirt. Very nice street capture, Kathy.
A familiar scene these days...looking at the cell phone!
What did people do with their time before cell phones??? Talk to each other? What a novel concept. :)
