Now that's just nice. Hope you save me a seat:) I have to get new benches for our property this fall once the fountain is set up. Should be interesting. But this would be the look I'd like to have at El Presidio.
I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

Lovely! I guess this is/was a sugar plantation?
Really pretty scene. I love the colors. It LOOKS like a southern plantation garden spot, even without seeing the plantation.
they don't look comfortable enough for a long sitting spill but they have such character. (:
Charming! I think I see a fleur de lis on the lichen covered bench. :)
I am not sure I would sit, but they do add interest.
i was trying to read the word on the side of that chair. pooso..??
Looks like a lovely spot to sit for awhile! I would want a cushion though.

They appear to have weathered many a day. Is that lettering on the end of the closest one?
Nice!
