Beauties! Thanks for thinking of me during TS Isaac. We really lucked out. Not only did the storm veer west, but the strong feeder bands cutting across Florida pretty much missed Sarasota.
I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

I see the smaller of the two has highlights in her mane. :) They are very handsome creatures.
You see the most wonderful sights on your road trips! These are beautiful horses and I can't pick a favorite either. :)
i love the top one since the little one gives you a flirty over-the-shoulder look. :)
Y agree with TexWis Girl. :)
They are beautiful . I love the first . You seem to get all the elements in there . Sometimes its hard too but that one is my pick.
Gorgeous also.
Cool shots! Such grace and beauty.
Those are cool. I wouldn't have known what to call them other than Horsies.
What beautiful horses! I love the first picture the best.
