Red-Lander
Imogene's Cafe in San Augustine, Texas, is now the occupant of the building which once housed The Red-Lander, one of the more prominent newspapers in the Republic of Texas during the 1840s. Sam Houston maintained a law office across the street from the Red-Lander for during most of the years of The Red-Lander's existence.

Interesting bit of old Texan history!
interesting history. glad the building is at least occupied.
love the worn signage across the brick.
An enchanting cafe! (Where one can get coffee AND dinner.)
I love the pride Texans take in their history. :)
Love that building and the ghost writing still visible... but it is the cafe that draws me in!! Well spotted and captured...
Is it any good?
