One of the most compelling statues I've seen. I enlarged it, then found I could not stop looking. Wish I had a small version of that for my house since I collect angels. Beautiful, Kathy!
I love this one Kathy! You've made the angel come alive in this pic. I'm catching up on your posts. The freezes have been nasty over here as well. Pretty.....cold:)
I am a retired court reporter now working part time as a proofreader. In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I live on a farm in Nacogdoches County near the Louisiana border. This blog is a repository for pictures of subjects that I find interesting in my travels up and down the country roads throughout the Piney Woods. I love to take pictures of farm animals and equipment, old houses, barns and sheds and anything that has vines or rust on it.

Sab but beautiful, Kathy.
Beautiful. She does look sad. I'm glad you included the columns in the back. I think I'm going to collect columns for a while. Photos, that is.
she makes such a statement of grief.

Sad, yet beautiful.
I love the way you composed this, Kathy.
Happy Monday to you!

Wonderful photo, but she does look sad.
Nice find. I agree with the others...so sad...tragic.
What a beautiful composition, Kathy! Love this shot.
