How many years did it take to wear that perfect meandering path past this little barn? How many mule-driven wagons, tractors, and pickup trucks were involved in leaving their mark?

In December 2010 I returned to my roots in Deep East Texas to care for my aging mother after having lived in Arizona for over 30 years. I love the golden tones here. I wonder how many years it would take before grass hid the ruts if everyone stopped traveling that road toady.
