A beautiful angel stands vigil over the grave of Anna Culberson in Oakwood Cemetery, Jefferson, Texas. Nothing other than her name is engraved on the marker. The angel stands amidst several crape myrtle trees planted in the Culberson plot.

Someone loved Anna very much. Interesting that that is no other info on the headstone. The angel is beautiful.
a lovely monument.
Fascinating.
Reminds me of the tomb of Rufina Cambaceres at Recoleta

Isn't she beautiful! I wonder why there's no other info on the headstone.
THis half tempts me to do a little research on the poor woman.
The background here is really so perfect for this beautiful statue, Kathy.
Happy Sunday to you!
Lovely...
Always amazes me the detail in rock! Beautiful.
Anna was loved by someone special. What a beautiful tribute to her.
This is a lovely photo --- thank you so much for sharing it on Taphophile Tragics! It's too bad that there isn't anything else except for her name, but at least there's that. Sometimes, the statue remains, but any name has been worn completely away. :)
Such a beautiful picture and a beautiful monument. such a shame that there was no further information available.
Beneath Thy Feet
