Even today the the Westward Ho is an imposing structure with its art deco architecture.
The familiar steel tower was added in the late 1940s for KPHO,
which was the first TV station in Phoenix.
Carved stone on the facade of the Westward Ho.
The lobby ceiling.
A drinking fountain which exhibits some of the craftsman tilework
throughout the hotel.
A tiled sidewalk on the way to the pool and interior courtyard.
A resident's window. What a wonderful place to live!

Beautiful building. I love the tile work, and the radio tower is very 40s!
Gorgeous shots! They are supposed to have real good eats at their diner too.
You did a great job capturing the beauty of that hotel.
Such fabulous shots of the hotel.
Wonderful clear blue sky & the designs on the building are beautiful, & the tiles, too! Very nice
